Saponaria Pumila as a Skincare Ingredient

Saponaria Pumila, also known as Dwarf Soapwort grows in the Alpine mountains. Despite the low temperatures and intense UV radiation, this rare plant was able to adapt, having developed effective restoration and protection mechanisms. They retain regenerative properties in human skin stem cells when exposed to UV radiation. The protective properties of these cells can increase the elasticity, firmness and density of the skin after 4 weeks of use.

BHA as a Skincare Ingredient

BHAs, such as salicylic acid, are very similar to AHAs except that they are oil soluble in contrast to the water soluble AHAs. This is why they are especially useful for oily skin and open pores. The anti-inflammatory effect of BHAs (e.g. salicylic acid) and their comparative compatibility with sensitive skin make BHA especially valuable ingredients.
